By renting your unique assets, like boats, cars, apparel, and designer items you can help creators while also earning some extra income. How do we prepare our property or business to host ?

We ask you to provide between 5 and 15 photographs that showcase your space or your products. 

The wide variety of users on our site comes hand in hand with an extensive range of needs and interests. We offer everything from Star Wars – themed environments to tranquil spaces for wedding photography. We offer it all. All we ask is that your space, design, and aesthetic is cohesive in both the marketing approach and target audience.

Lastly, please ensure that your location is kept tidy and to a high standard to create a positive, pleasant, and safe experience for users.

What is required to host?

Hosts are required to submit the following: 

  1. Photos: At least 1, 5 is best
  2. At minimum 1 social platform, yours or your business socials
  3. Contact info: Email, Phone number, Location of listing for internal vetting
  4. Provide some details of what your listing offers. What makes your space stand out from the crowd? (themed rooms, professional lighting, vintage car, etc.)
 

How do I create a listing on The Rentory ?

Simply scroll to the top of the page and click ‘add a listing’.  Each listing is vetted by our team and once approved, you will receive an email notification and your listing will be live on The Rentory!   

Does The Rentory offer photography services ?

We understand the importance of making an excellent first impression. That’s why we offer professional photography services to help our clients put their best foot forward.

How can I become a verified host?

Verification is determined by a set of criteria. Once you join as a host, add your listing, then once it is approved you will then have the option to click the “claim listing” option.

From there, fill out the verification form and submit. We verify as a precaution for the safety of our users.

Do you offer a commission and pricing guide for hosts?

Our packages are listed out when you choose to become a host. We conveniently offer 3 options to suit our hosts depending on their needs.

What are the current Covid Policies?

Ultimately the choice to require masks at entry or in your facility in between photo or video takes is up to you and your place of business. We ask that you please stipulate this policy in your listing so users are aware before booking.

How does The Rentory make money?

We are a transparent corporation.

Never hesitate to reach out and ask us if you need clarity or have questions. 

Hosting fees are currently set at 12% on bookings.

What are safety protocols for hosts?

Safety of our hosts and creators are top priority.

 The Rentory highly advises to do your due diligence to ask the creator questions, vet their social media accounts, which should be found on their profile, and inquire about their reason for booking and who will be attending. 

Safety is top priority, if you are ever uncomfortable with accepting a booking, or keeping it, you can decline it.
